Supported Wide Angle Fold

This pose can be done at any time of your cycle. Especially nice during menstruation or the 2 week wait as it calms the mind and the small but effective forward fold lends itself to a sense of surrender.

The forward fold comes from the pelvis, not the shoulders. Some padding under the hips and knees is nice if your inner thighs and hamstrings are tight. Substitute a bed or chair if you don’t have blocks and bolsters.
