Side-Lying Savasana

Parsva Savasana

This pose is best experienced lying on your left side (which is the feminine and restorative side of the body) and can be done any time in your cycle. It is especially amazing when you’re feeling anxious or in need of healing.

Throw a blanket over yourself and feel completely safe in your cocoon. The bottom left leg is straight and the right leg is draped and supported. Add some padding for your head and a slight tuck of the chin. Slide the bottom shoulder out from under yourself so you’re lying more on the shoulder blade – this will stop your arm from going to sleep.
