When we know our predominant dosha we can begin to recognize our imbalances so that we can balance and create the best conditions in our bodies (or ‘fields’) to give our seeds the best chance of growth. Simply put, to become our healthiest and most fertile selves.

Hot yoga (and yoga for fitness) embraces masculine energy: heat, doing, performing, forcing, and pushing. This is agni – fire/sun energy. We already live in a male dominated society that uplifts and celebrates these qualities. It’s exhausting and as a default, much of the strength of our feminine energy is being lost.

Rather than going political with this blog, I am choosing to go practical.
Because healing and making sense of life is where yoga truly shines.
