Fertility Yoga w/ Kerry Testimonials

What are fertility practitioners & women like you saying about
Fertile Body Yoga?

I am so grateful for the existence of Fertile Body Yoga and for Kerry's gentle, welcoming spirit. Kerry brings her personal understanding of family building struggles to her practice and to her steadfast commitment to the mind-body connection.
As an acupuncturist who specializes in fertility and women’s health, I love referring patients to Kerry for Fertile Body Yoga. Whether a person is trying to conceive at home or is under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist, it can be incredibly stressful. Kerry blends slow flow body-led yoga and restorative poses that create a relaxation response in the body. It’s exactly what people need when so much of their day is spent in that fight or flight response. Kerry truly understands the plight of those who are on a journey to build their families and she creates a safe space where you can listen to your body and give yourself exactly what you need. It’s so gentle and Kerry offers plenty of modifications so I never worry where a patient is in their cycle. Fertile Body Yoga comes highly recommended and is an important component to managing stress when trying to conceive

I discovered Fertile Body Yoga midway through my IVF journey. My only regret was not finding it sooner! Kerry's class helped me to develop the habit of slowing down and nourishing my emotional and physical body, which I desperately needed during a stressful and emotional time. Her class is an incredibly supportive space for women trying to conceive to come together and practice in a very intentional way. Kerry is immensely caring and always checks in with you before the start of each class. I really felt the sense that she got to know me and my fertility journey, which up to that point had felt very isolating. The class itself is wonderful and her thoughtfulness really shines in her teaching. Kerry combines long blissful restorative postures and slow movement with a focused theme. She beautifully weaves all this together to foster deep rest and relaxation. By the end of each class, I felt steeped in relaxation. I am so grateful for Kerry’s expert teaching and offering this weekly class. It supported me in immeasurable ways.
On my journey towards motherhood through IVF, I came to realize the important connection between mind and body as I tried to make sense of repeated failures. Joining Fertile Body Yoga was an important contribution to my success in finally becoming pregnant. The class is a unique combination of movement, breathing, visualization, energy work, and great companionship on what can be a very challenging path. The wonderful guidance and mentoring of Kerry was something I looked forward to each week.
Kerry and Fertile Body Yoga provide both an environment and the opportunity to connect with and reset your body each week. Physically, the movement feels nourishing, but, perhaps equally as important, the focus of each class feels spiritually nourishing during what can be a really depleting time. Both Kerry and the community of women in this class provide a space to take care of both your physical and spiritual self.
If you believe in the mind/body/soul connection, then Kerry is the fertility yoga teacher for you. She integrates science, psychology, and first-hand wisdom into physical practice. After each class, I feel connected to my whole self. I feel calm, hopeful, and inspired to keep going on this challenging journey.
I am so happy I was able to participate in fertile body yoga with Kerry while trying to conceive my second child. Kerry is an incredibly skilled instructor. She creates classes that support your body and mind during an incredibly challenging time. I highly recommend these classes.
FBY has been my anchor as I navigate the hope and heartache of fertility treatments and building my family. It’s easy to lose yourself in the process, isolation and expectations that come with TTC. FBY connects me to a community, to my soul, and to the universe at a higher level. Kerry puts so much heart into each of her classes, and whether I leave class feeling completely blissed out or in a heap of tears on my mat, I’m always getting exactly what I need.
In the beginning, I was slightly skeptical about doing anything extra to enhance my IVF journey, but after my care team shared Kerry's credentials, I was open to exploring the possibility that medicine wasn't the only option for successful infertility treatment. As the weeks of IVF passed and updates flowed in, my partner and family encouraged me to continue; they saw a distinct change in my attitude and well-being that they attributed to my weekly yoga practice. New challenges arose with each milestone, and the constant was my work and respite with Kerry. Her deep understanding and appreciation for my journey as well as my specific needs made all the difference for me, my partner, my growing baby, and everyone involved in this chapter. I am deeply grateful for her presence, support and expertise as I navigate this difficult and exciting time.
I have really enjoyed, and gotten a lot out of, the Fertile Body Yoga class with Kerry. It has helped me to both learn about and pay attention to the mind-body connection, as well as keep my stress level down while trying to conceive. I have appreciated the unique opportunity to connect and have conversations with other women who are also trying to conceive. Each class has a theme and focuses on a concept that relates to fertility. My favorite part of every class was the wonderful meditations at the end that would connect to the theme. I would wholeheartedly recommend this class to any woman trying to conceive!
Kerry’s fertile body yoga classes are soothing and healing for mind and body. Each class has a thoughtful, grounding theme that always speaks to me. I keep coming back to my mat for Kerry’s classes because my mind, heart, and body feel calm, grounded, peaceful, and grateful following each class. I have gratitude for Kerry’s approach to teaching, which includes clear instructions and options, depending on where your body is during each class. This journey of life is hard, no matter where we are on it, and Kerry’s classes offer a safe, happy, nurturing place to bring your whole self.
After 2+ years of IVF treatment and 2 early pregnancy losses, Kerry's programs on early pregnancy and miscarriage really spoke to me. I felt like Kerry was taking my thoughts and feelings about being pregnant directly from my head and totally validating my experience. This feels really good, like, someone actually gets it. The first trimester can feel so long-- between feeling unwell, and the emotional doubt and fear that sets in. Reaching the second trimester is a check-point I was fixated on, and this breaks up that first trimester into smaller more constructive chunks and feels very supportive along the way. I also love how Kerry so wonderfully has woven in yogic themes: asteya, tapas, and Ishvara pranidhana. I’ve always been impressed by her ability to do this so effortlessly in class and here is no exception.
The Frozen Embryo transfer series was very helpful to get into a different frame of mind and felt so nurturing. I've been on edge a lot and it completely shifts my mindset, and I feel so much better all around after the classes. I would definitely recommend this series to others - there is so little guidance on what to do to support transfers from the doctors. Having a lifelong access is great as people often have to go through multiple transfers.
My reproductive endocrinologist recommended I reach out to Kerry after I suffered a traumatic loss and was looking for natural ways to promote fertility. Little did I know that one introduction would dramatically shape my future! From day one, Kerry lent an empathetic ear and provided encouragement, guidance and advice. We had a few sessions and I quickly realized that was what my body needed. She also helped me develop a regular meditation practice that is now my favorite part of each day. Kerry also connected me to an amazing team to help me in my journey - including a therapist and acupuncturist. When I was fortunate to fall pregnant again, she consistently provided advice on how I could soothe my body and anxiety (especially key during a pandemic). I cannot recommend Kerry enough and feel blessed to have met her as I navigated this journey.

FYB's Early Pregnancy After Fertility and Loss series was invaluable to me in my first trimester and throughout my pregnancy. I really appreciated the variety of ways I could choose to engage with the series while struggling with persistent nausea, fatigue, and anxiety. Some days, reading one of the eBooks or listening to the grounding meditation that was specific to those early days was what I needed, whereas on other days I wanted to move. The Exhale class and eBook were particularly helpful. Kerry's tips and poses for nausea were immensely effective, both on and off the mat, and I always felt better after doing the class. As I emerged from the first trimester, I started to do bits and pieces of the Inhale class, which helped me increase my stamina until I felt ready to try a live prenatal yoga class. I have returned to the Inhale throughout my pregnancy when I needed to move but couldn't get to a live class. Thank you, Kerry, for creating this series that supported this unique period of early pregnancy after infertility.
You and your program are my respite. The big deep slow sigh into what it is to be me right now. I feel myself slowly becoming more in tune with my body, month after month.
I love how everything you do has been exactly tailor-made to our headspace during this process - it’s wonderful to have access to programs that make you feel so supported during such a confusing time.
